As shown in the picture below, for this activity, students try to spell out words before a full body is hung (including a head, body, two arms, and two legs). To do this activity, one student chooses a word from the word wall and draws a dash separated by a space for each letter of the selected word and an empty hanging hook. Without telling the other students the word, they must guess letters to spell out the word. If they guess wrong letters, the letter is written beside the hanging hook and one body part is drawn. Players win by spelling out the word before all 6 body parts are drawn. On the other hand, they loose if they guess too many wrong letters and all the body parts are drawn.
