Reader's Theater is a great strategy to get students interested in reading fictional texts. For this strategy, the students are given the opportunity to dramatically read aloud a story. The text is separated into lines for students to read aloud. They present dramatic readings of the story, without using any props, costumes, special lighting, etc.
